Overview
VDAB Training is the vocational training branch of the Flemish public employment service. It offers training in many sectors, free of charge for job seekers in Flanders and Dutch speakers in Brussels, with comprehensive support including reimbursement of transport and childcare costs.
Services offered
- Free vocational training in 7 areas: commerce, construction, industry, services, care and education, transport and logistics, sales and IT
- Individual company training (IBO), paid professional internships and short courses with placements
- Possibility of obtaining a vocational training certificate, higher education degree or secondary school diploma
- Reimbursement of transport and childcare costs during training
Who is it for?
VDAB Training is aimed at job seekers and workers in Flanders and Dutch speakers in Brussels. Apprenticeship training is also available for young people under 25 without a secondary school diploma.
